What is the difference between a Fix-A-Jamb and Door Armor?

FIX-A-JAMB is designed to be a repair product, not a security product. The Exterior FIX-A-JAMB is 40 inches long and is L-shaped so it covers up the damage of a broken door frame. The L-shape actually makes it a little more difficult to install, if there has been no damage to the doorjamb. Installing the Exterior FIX-A-JAMB requires that you remove the trim molding on the door if it has not already been damaged. FIX-A-JAMB will make your jamb stronger but it only covers one part of the door, which leaves the locks and hinges vulnerable. Door Armor is designed to be a security product. It protects all of the vulnerable points on your door (jamb, door, and hinges).
